Me and My Horoscope

Most of people have habit to look for daily horoscope early in the morning. When I was kid then I used to read horoscope but at 5pm. After reading, I used to map the incidents happened with me whole days with whatever I read in newspaper. The match was less or more exact. My reaction over this always has been that, “There is nothing like horoscopy. Whatever you read or listen about your horoscope, you try to map it to the incidents happened with you.” All the time I ignored it. I am receiving my Daily Horoscope from Astrolife in my Inbox from last 2 year. I read them for 4-5 months. Now I have power of Google easy keyboard navigation. So now, I can now move to next email by simply pressing “>” key and quickly ignore mail in which I am not interested. Astrolife mail is in “Ignore”-nce list. J

Even if I am not interested in Horoscope and all, whenever my parents asked me to show my hand, I never refused to do so. I have been avoiding the things which they don’t like and continued which they are interested in. In my childhood, our “Bhatjee” said that your kid will get well education, bring prosperity to home and may fly to “Pardesh”. This was too much. I never believed it. Now things have been changed too much. We all (me and my brothers) are now well educated, we build okey house (some work still pending), my elder brother got married n all. “Pardesh” flying is still pending but, looking at my profession it is now it is not far away.

Last week I visited one farm house based hotel on Dehu road in Pune. One of friend, Niki, told me that astrologist in that farm hotel tell about horoscopy and it has been very true with her and her family. First time I got confused. “To go or not to go…”. I was interested first time. But another stupid mind was saying, “Ramesh, and you? How is that?” Finally, I sat on the second waiting bench. Four five people were seating on first bench ahead of me. Once first became empty, I was suppose to move on second. But anyhow I missed it and other people move ahead of me. Again my second mind took my control. Pankaj, Pawan n Niki were watching photos we(Pankaj, Ashok n I) clicked at my home. I joined them. Again first mind made me queries about future. After some time Pal n Ashok joined us. Rekha farm is the place where you can enjoy some old traditional dances, Bowing, listening to some old songs and gazals, puppet show, etc. We enjoyed puppet show and Pallu, Pawan, Ashok n Niki moved to mud pot making area. Once again I sat with Pankaj to know about my horoscope. After 10-15 min our turn came. I showed him hand. By looking into hand he wrote some numbers on the notepad. He told me two three things due which my confidence increased. He told me that all things will be all right as per me till this December. When discussion came to marriage, he told that it will happen in between next Feb to Dec. Most probably it will be in March next year. Till that, everything was okey. I was more interested in whether it will be arrange or love? I fired same question. He said, “Kuthe love marriage che gheun basata? Arrange marriage best aahe. Anni tumache lagna he jast karun arrange marriage asel.” It means that “Why you holding on love marriage? Arrange marriage is best. Most probably your marriage will be arranged marriage.” We enjoyed rest evening and came back to home. Looking at current movements and my interests, looks like astrologist is going to be true.... :)
