Lt. Gen V.K. Singh retied as Indian Army
Chief today. I liked his work during his Army Chief. I was hoping he will get
extension and “Well Established” System will be changed positively. He is man
who was completely suffered by controversies, allegations.
I like his tenure just because he was the
first army person who talked against rusty system. Unknown person leaked
confidential letter Army chief wrote about Ammunition shortage and outdated technology
in army. He was daring to talk about people who are misusing power for
themselves. If he would have continued as Army Chief for another year he would
have changed system a little bit. Let’s hope the concern he raised will be well
addressed by Lt. Gen Bikhram Singh.
